Market study in Birmingham for the VINCI Group

Client: Vinci

Context

The Vinci group is a major player in the HS2 construction work, a major rail project that will connect London to major English cities via high-speed trains. The French Touch group has not only supported Vinci in finding housing for its employees in Birmingham, but has also been commissioned to carry out market research to find offices.

Challenges

Birmingham is one of the largest cities in England with many business districts. It was therefore necessary to first identify the expectations of the customer in order to draw up a study as close as possible to their requirements.

Moreover, the study was carried out in the midst of the health crisis, a crisis that had completely turned upside down the rules of the office market. The boundaries between traditional leases and “serviced offices” had become increasingly porous and we had to navigate this new reality to understand the opportunities and find the best options.

Our intervention

FTC carried out in-depth market research which enabled Vinci to have an objective view of the office supply in Birmingham. We analysed the different districts as well as the different services on offer (traditional lease, managed offices, serviced offices etc).

We were also able to select a few concrete offers of offices matching their specifications, thus giving them all the cards in hand to make the best choice for their offices.

French Touch Commercial also supports you throughout the process of finding and securing your commercial premises: shops, restaurants or offices.
